Classic Montessori Floor Bed
Our Classic Montessori Floor Bed is handcrafted in Australia from 100% solid pine timber, with clean square rails and a timeless, minimal design. Low to the ground, it supports your child’s independence while creating a cosy and secure sleep space.
Designed to grow with your child, the removable side rails allow you to use the bed as an enclosed toddler floor bed in the early years, then transition it into a more open “big kid” bed as they grow. Optional legs can also be added later to convert the floor bed into a raised bed.
The natural timber finish makes each bed beautifully unique, with visible wood grain and soft variations that suit neutral, modern and Montessori-inspired bedrooms. Left completely natural with no paint, stain or varnish, it’s a pure timber finish made with little ones in mind.

Each Nido Nest bed is made to order, allowing us to carefully craft every piece to the highest standard.

Because our beds are custom made, please allow approximately 2-4 weeks for production before your order is shipped. - Shipping
We ship Australia-wide. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number so you can follow your delivery. - Delivery Times
Delivery times vary depending on your location and courier service. Most orders arrive within 3–10 business days after dispatch. - Packaging
Your bed will arrive flat-packed and securely packaged to ensure it arrives safely. - Local Delivery & Assembly
We offer local delivery and optional assembly within 20 km of Truganina.
If you are located within this area, we can deliver your bed directly to your home and assemble it for you.
Please contact us before ordering to confirm availability and pricing for this service. - Warehouse Pickup
Customers are also welcome to collect their order from our warehouse in Truganina once it is ready.
Pickup is available by appointment after you have received confirmation that your order is ready.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Each Nido Nest bed is custom made to order, so we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind once production has started.
If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. If production has not yet begun, we may be able to provide a refund excluding payment processing fees.
We take great pride in our craftsmanship. If your bed arrives with a manufacturing defect or workmanship issue, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the problem so we can arrange a suitable solution.
Depending on the situation, this may include repair, replacement parts, or a replacement product.

Assembly & Quality

Each Nido Nest bed is handcrafted using high-quality timber and finished with smooth, butter-soft sanding for a safe, splinter-free surface. Built for strength and durability, our beds are made to support your child through every stage.
To make setup simple and secure, key components are pre-assembled in our workshop. The headboard and rail sections come already glued and dowelled—so at home, you only need to connect the main pieces together.
Most customers can assemble their bed in around 30 minutes.
